There’s a bar in Los Angeles where if you bring in a really low value royalty cheque, they’ll give you a free drink in exchange for the cheque, which they put on display. Quite a lot of actors struggled before they got that big role that launched them into the big-time.
Perhaps I’m one of those, but in the writing world. I got a $5 royalty payment the other day from Ingram Sparks, but I am pretty sure that it’s from when I bought a bunch of copies of Lava Moon that I’ve not actually sold.
If you want some books at cost price – I’ll probably post them at my cost – please drop me a message and we’ll see what I can do.
I also note I am getting far fewer dodgy marketing emails since I took my email off my Facebook page. Please do not send any by the Jetpack forms either, thank you.
Finally, I’ve started on another short story while I wait to hear back about “Final Frontier Girl”. This one will be a bit different; in first person, for one thing, which I don’t tend to.
